Nancy Akhavan Consulting, Inc. grew out of Nancy Akhavan Consulting which was a sole proprietor business. Established in 2004, Nancy Akhavan Consulting has provided professional development and organizational development services nationally and internationally for 20 years.
Nancy Akhavan Consulting has provided professional learning to leaders and teachers in more than 30 states and at all levels, PK-12. Nancy Akhavan Consulting has also provided leadership development, teacher-leaders development, organizational change, and development guidance and facilitated systematic implementation of district plans in various areas of work.
The mission of the firm is to provide professional growth opportunities to leaders and teachers to increase the effectiveness of equitable instructional practices for all learners, particularly for students who are historically underserved. The guided values of the firm include the following:
- Leaders, teacher-leaders, and teachers learn through the identification of problems of practice.
- Organizations learn through inquiry processes.

Nancy Akhavan Consulting, Inc. customizes services and professional learning to the school district’s particular needs. The firm has provided residency type customized organizational services, executive coaching and professional learning to many districts and schools.
