Christina Luna, ED. D.

Christina Luna is a career educator with over 30 years of experience in Pk-12 public school districts and at the university level. Christina is currently an Assistant Professor at California State University Fresno where she is a professor in the Educational Leadership Master’s and Credential program.  Christina is also an assistant professor for the University’s Doctorate Program.

She has over 10 years of experience working with preservice teacher programs at Chapman University in Orange and at the University of Southern California’s Masters in Teacher Education program.  Her areas of specialty include English Language Learner students (ELLs) and long-term English Language Learner students (LTELs). Christina worked for a joint program with the Los Angeles County Office of Education and the Yosemite Institute writing and studying biodiversity and science education, the program allowed Christina to live and study the Yosemite National Forest and the Sierras.  Christina has been a science consultant and science program grant writer and program manager.

Christina has expertise in diversity and inclusivity and works with organizations to provide diversity, inclusivity and equity training. She has been an active member of the Center for Leadership, Equity and Research (CLEAR), and provided assistance and leadership for the CLEAR organization.
