Gayle Frediani
Biography
Gayle Frediani has been serving students, faculty, and administrators for over 30 years, specializing in literacy, professional development, and instructional coaching for over fifteen years.
She began as an elementary teacher, was a literacy coach, a Title I evaluator, managed the operations of the third grade literacy intervention program in FUSD, planned and delivered professional development in Balanced Literacy both district-wide in Fresno and for her privately-owned company Curriculum Connection Workshops, was a school administrator for 10 years, and managed and trained the district Instructional Coaches TK-12 in Fresno Unified. In her initial placement as principal, she elevated the performance of the site to advance out of Title I Program Improvement status.
In her second placement as principal, she developed a school-wide literacy program that advanced the site’s standardized test scores and English Learner re-designation rates to within the top six schools in FUSD. She has coached both teachers and site administrators and served on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council. Since retiring in 2017, Gayle Frediani has served as a Lecturer/Clinical Coach for CSU Fresno.
