Specializing in large-scale K-12 assessment, her professional experience began as a classroom teacher in 2005 and evolved into school, district, and state-level leadership positions, putting her in every seat that is tasked with developing, evaluating, implementing, and interpreting assessments. Dr. Cochron progressed into managing multiple state-level assessment programs for non- and for-profit educational technology companies. She consistently aims to make data-related processes clear and concise throughout her career for data professionals, school administrators, teachers, students, and parents. This passion led to the founding of Metimur LLC in 2022, a consulting company that offers technical support in educational measurement and assessment employing research-based psychometric, instructional, and project management strategies.

Dr. Cochron lives in Fresno with her husband, two children, three dogs, and an unknown number of goldfish.
